SOLVED-Options/Appearance menu: Blocked Objects won't enable
Posted: Sun Dec 19, 2010 5:31 pm
During the course of writing this, and simultaneously trying solutions, this was fixed. I've posted this in the hope it might help someone else; searching these forums returned nothing similar to the specific problem I was having. SEE UPDATE at bottom of this message for solution.
Selecting "Blocked Objects" from the Options / Appearance menu does not result in the addition of that item to the right-click context menu.
On the Options / Appearance menu, all of the program default items are checked, including "Contextual Menu", and the 8 options below that heading.
The other 7 of these items do appear on the context menu. At some point within the last month (I think), the "Blocked Objects" item did appear.
Unchecking this item, closing the Options menu, reopening it, and again checking the item had no effect.
Unfortunately, I don't recall at what point this bug occurred; I only noticed the item's absence today. Both NoScript and Firefox have been immediately updated every time an update notification from either has appeared.

"General troubleshooting: missing icons/menus, etc.", I've performed the first two tasks with no result.
UPDATE - Task #3 solved the problem : Corrupt Extension Files. The instructions can be found on this page:

Thanks in advance to all for your patient support here. (I may actually need it someday!
