I tried searching for this on the net and it seemed that the issue was resolved in an earlier release (the latest version I saw was around 1.9~~) but basically, I'm getting multiple attempts when I try to post on messageboard or forums. Luckily, most forums that I go to (androidforums.com or styleforum.net) prevent people from posting multiple times within a 30 second window. Each time I post, it will say "You need to wait 30 seconds to post again), but I doublecheck and my original post goes through. Same thing happens with Gawker-media sites, except they don't have that rule so I always end up double posting.

All these sites - I allow and the sites that I don't allow are generally ad sites (google ads, doubleclick, etc). This is not a problem at all when I use a different browser or disable noscript.

No, unless the problem happens only when you allow/disallow a website just after posting, and you ignore the "repost" warning issued by the browser.

This is very unlikely.

Most likely, instead, this is an extensions conflict.
Have you got LiveHTTPHeaders and keep it running all the time?
Otherwise, could you try Standard Diagnostic with NoScript enabled to find out the possibly conflicting extension?

Thanks for the quick reply. Other than noscript, I'm running Adblock Plus, FiddlerHook, Java Quick Starter, Microsoft .NET, and Tree Style Tab.

I first eliminated Tree Style Tab and that had no effect. Then disabling AdBlock (v 1.3.2) seemed to have corrected the issue. I'm actually a little surprised it's adblock, but you could probably fill me in on why that would be the cause. I'm gonna keep adblock disabled and see if that clears the issue for the day. It would happen like 90% of the time, so I just want to be sure it's the culprit.

Is this a known issue with adblock?

Ok - a weird thing just happened. I went to reply on my last post it indicated I got the captcha wrong, so I re-entered and submit a second time. When I got it right, it said it was a double post and my post got through.

I'd put my money on FiddlerHook...

So far it does look like it's FiddlerHook. I assumed it would only interact if I actually had Fiddler running, which I primarily only use in IE anyways. Disabling!
