Noscript icon on top

Post by SeaLion »

Hello everyone,

I'm using Beta 7 on and off, and really enjoying it.
<This is where i'd fill the post with irrelevant information  >

I remember a video/post by a Mozilla developer moving icons from the statusbar/addonsbar to the top, next to the tab bar, etc.

I tried that with NS and i can't do it. Disabling the status bar icon, and dragging the toolbar icon from the customize dialogue achieves almost the same though.
The problem is, it isn't as seamless as the Mozilla developer showed, and the icon now has an ugly arrow next to it, which also takes unnecessary space from the tab bar.
This isn't specific to NS, but i'm hoping to get a clear answer as to what's happening.

Is it related to the Firefox Linux version not supporting this yet - i'm using Debian Squeeze - or addon developers needing to update the code to the new methods/functions?
Why does the toolbar icon have that arrow?

Thank you in advance!
