Hello,
I notice in about:config for Firefox 3.6.12 I have the entry:
noscript.inclusionTypeChecking.exceptions https://scache.vzw.com
I can see from looking at other posters that this is an exception for people who cannot view the Verizion website.
However, I have never asked for this exception and as far as I know never looked at vzw.com.
I would be interested to know why it is regarded an exception when I have not deliberately done this.
Thanks.

Are you asking a rhetorical question?

No. I am asking a question - nothing rhetorical.

But you answered it yourself.

Notice also that this kind of exception has an effect (makes the site work properly) only if vzw.com is also added to your whitelist: therefore you cannot be "accidentally" affected. It just serves the purpose of helping Verizon users not to fight with FAQs and obscure about:config settings.
