Advanced / external filters question

There is a section called "Do not filter objects coming from these sites:". It has these sites listed: ".hulu.com .youtube.com:. I have tried to remove them but they keep coming back. If I do not activate "external filters" does this create a potential problem? I'm not quite sure what to do here. My intent is to block anything and everything unless I explicitly allow it. I'm kind of new to NoScripts so be patient! Thanks.

It doesn't do anything unless you
Enable external filters. Unless you really know what you're doing, I suggest you leave that one alone. I leave it at its default setting: unchecked/disabled.

Some of the Advanced settings have caused trouble for users that try to do too much with them. Here are some of the ones that frequently cause problems for non-experts if changed from their defaults:
HTTPS > Behavior
- Leave this at it
Never unless you're using Tor.
- I find
Force the following sites to use HTTPS... useful for some sites that use both http and https.
HTTPS > Cookies
- Leave this unchecked.
