No Download window

Hi Giorgio,
Here's my problem:
From few days ago whenever I click a link I don't get the download window (the usual open/flashgot/save to window) but instead Firefox starts automatically downloading in the background (as I noticed from the DU Meter), and then, WHEN the file is completely downloaded I get that usual window.

The above scenario I checked with a smaller file (which downloaded rather quickly), but with larger files I just see the maxed bandwidth and the page has the rotating icon (like when you are loading the the page).

BTW that loading icon reminds me (if I remember correctly) - it is usual, as I click the download link the tab icon starts rotating and soon after that I would get the download window (but not anymore).

If this is a Firefox problem I deeply apologize. I already tried one solution to a similar problem, but did not help. (this one)

I'm suspecting the flashgot extension because it seems that these problems appeared with the 1.2.4 version.

Best regards,
Atila

Does disabling FlashGot actually help?

Nope :(

So it is a FF error?

Definitely not a FlashGot issue, at least.
Maybe some other extension is at fault.
Could you try Standard Diagnostic?

Tried it, didnt help - it is not an extension related problem.

Thanks for your time.
And thanks for your nice plug-in, it is really helpful.
