Problems Posting
No idea if it is NoScript related.
Running 2.0.5rc4 & SeaMonkey 2.0.10.
Though on a number of boards, I've had oddities posting (i.e., clicking 'Submit'.)
In some cases, the page just goes blank (nothing displayed).
Other times different oddities, like the SeaMonkey icon just "spinning" for an inordinate amount of time, before anything happens.
Last time it was, "Bad Request. Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand.".
An Alt+Back_arrow & again clicking Submit has then worked without incident.
Nothing to note in Error Console that I see.
Cache, cookies, http/https, are some things that Google points to.
This is a recent occurrence for me, with no real changes except for NoScript, FlashGot, Adblock Plus updates.
Now my computer is SLOW & severely overtaxed. Perhaps that is playing into it?

Twice (yesterday & today) when (attempting to) make an online payment to Waste Management, I received an email:
We are sorry for the inconvenience, but the payment you attempted to process for your Waste Management account on 11/11/2010 for the amount of $xxx.xx failed due to system connectivity issues. Please visit our site at
http://wmpayyourbill.wm.com to make this payment again.
I called & spoke with a CS rep, giving the same information submitted online & payment processed without incident.
Could just be coincidence?
Other online payments (Blue Cross & Blue Shield) appear to have worked without problems.

You may have just experienced a temporary networking issue.

Certainly a possibility.
OT: 2.0.5rc1 == 2.0.5.1 release ?
EDIT: typo above. Should have read "OT: 2.0.5.1rc1 == 2.0.5.1 release ?"

No. 2.0.5.1rc1 = 2.0.5.1

Heh.
Giorgio revised the website, so yes.
v 2.0.5.1rc1 (identical to 2.0.5.1)

Just to note that I'm still having issues on one particular (old, slow) computer.
I've reverted back to 2.0.4 to see if I notice any change.

Just to note ...
Again today, I'm still having issues on one particular (old, slow) computer.
Sporadic.
Don't really know if my test, reverting to earlier NoScript version helped or not?
I didn't particularly have issues with 2.0.4, though if it were a network issue, it could have just not been presenting itself at the particular time. (And when I tried to force a simultaneous test with current NoScript too, I then could not force the issue there either.)
So certainly could be a network issue?
Also, with me, it was not the "physical push" of the button, the button "pushed", just that the expected reaction did not occur - like a post posting, but rather after a period of time, either nothing (blank screen) or some sort of error message given (& seemingly pointing to a network issue).
Similar threads,

[RESOLVED] Cant Login Or Submit Data to Sites..??. (I do not use Force HTTPS.)

Happened a short time ago.
Got some correlation that points to it being a network issue rather then NoScript.
Was posting at slickdeals, clicked submit & ended up with a blank screen.
Refreshed the page (a timely procedure on this particular computer) & the second time it went through. (Always works on the second time.)
I also had (SeaMonkey) Chat (cZ) open. And in Chat I saw:
Code: Select all
[ERROR] Closing Link: therube[pool-150-195-243-157.balt.east.verizon.net] (Ping timeout)
[ERROR] Connection to irc://moznet/ (irc://irc.mozilla.org/) closed. [Help]
That tells me I lost (network) connection. That occurred at 14:07:00.
Looking at my (re)post at Slickdeals, it shows a time of Today, 02:10 PM (14:10).
So I'll chalk this up to network issues on my end.
