NoScript 2.0.4 + Firebug 1.7a4 conflict?

Post by dolphinling »

When using NoScript 2.0.4 and Firebug 1.7a4 together on current trunk Firefox (4.0b8pre) some major problems happen, most obviously that clicking a blocked object (e.g. flash) to display it doesn't work, and pages don't automatically reload when their scripts are allowed (the option is set that they should).

When clicking a flash object and having it fail to display, the following is logged in the error console:

Code: Select all

Error: uncaught exception: TypeError: browser is null
I haven't yet narrowed down whether it's a regression in NoScript, Firebug, or Firefox (or multiple).
