Allowing lastfm.de all scripts

edit: I'm using the newest Firefox 4.0b8 nightly which apparently did some major changes regarding javascript (causing Adblock to malfunction and so on). So if that rule below appears to be proper, then that could be the problem.

I'm having trouble with the ABE rules. I managed to allow lastfm.de to call scripts from doubleclick.net before, but then I deleted and later on recreated the rule and now it doesn't work anymore.

Here's the rule:

Code: Select all

Site .com.com .smartclip.net .doubleclick.net
Accept from *.last.fm *.lastfm.de lastfm.de
Deny
The scripts still show up as blocked in the NoScript menu. I also tried doubleclick.net and *.doubleclick.net (is there any difference?).

Also, once I know why this one doesn't work, is there a way to allow a site all scripts? Like Site *.*?

That would be my thought.
And in particular if your rules work as expected in FF 3.6.x.

I can't test it in 3.6, but if you think the rule should work, then it's probably the nightly causing trouble. I just wanted to make sure, there was no mistake in the rule.

I don't know "rules", but I did have a second though on this, & that is perhaps something different then what I was thinking about pertaining to the trunk, so testing on FF 3.6 or someone verifying the rule would be worthwhile.

Of course, because ABE and NoScript permissions are independent. If you want doubleclick to work, you must allow it from the NoScript menu. Then ABE will block it anywhere except on lastfm.de, per its rules.

So, ABE is still working with all nightlies and the only problem was that I didn't allow doubleclick etc in NoScript?

It seems so.
