[Resolved] Can't upload to tinypic.com/ Is it NoScript?

OSX 10.6.4

I'm not sure if this is a NoScript or a Firefox (3.6.10) issue. I'm not able to upload any images (.jpgs) to http://www.tinypic.com/

No matter what I try, I keep getting an "upload failed, invalid code" message. As an experiment, it does work properly from Safari. (The page appears a bit different in Safari and for some reason, I'm also not asked in Safari to copy and paste a code -- which is required when I'm on FF -- for the selected data before uploading.) I think I have most, if not all, of the defaults in NoScript>Options. Here's what I've tried:

- temporarily "allowed all this page"
- Options>embeddings>unchecked "apply these restrictions to whitelisted sites too"
- Options>embeddings>unchecked "Forbid<iIFRAME>"

(disabled AdBlock Plus on the site and enabled Java both in Firefox and NoScript)

Does anyone else encounter the same issue? I"m wondering what else to try? Thanks in advance.

Make sure you're using the current version, NoScript 2.0.3.5. If not, then get it from http://noscript.net/getit.

Do you have the same problem if you start Firefox in Safe Mode? (Don't check any of the boxes. Just click Continue in safe mode.)
If starting in Firefox safe mode doesn't eliminate the problem, then it's not a NoScript issue.

If the problem goes away in safe mode, then disable all your extensions except NoScript and press Reset in the NoScript Options (after exporting your whitelist for safekeeping). Is the problem present if NoScript is the only extension being used?

If NoScript alone doesn't cause the problem, then track down which extension is causing it as follows:
Disable your extensions (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions or use the option in the safe mode startup window) and re-enable them one by one until you find which one is causing it.
Close and restart Firefox after each change.

If that doesn't work, then try this.
Clear the browser cache:
- Tools->Options->Advanced->Network tab->click on "Clear Now" button
Delete any cookies relating to the site(s) involved:
- Select Tools > Options > Privacy > Firefox will: Use custom settings for history
- Click the Show Cookies button
- Search for the site, select the cookies, click Remove Cookie

Thanks for all of that Alan. I will try those. But I wonder if it might be possible for you to see if you are able to upload a jpg to tinypic?

OK, I'll try. By the way, I added this to my previous post while you were posting.
Make sure you're using the current version, NoScript 2.0.3.5. If not, then get it from http://noscript.net/getit.

I'm able to upload if I Reset the NoScript options and Allow tinypic.com and recaptcha.net.

That was a bit puzzling at first since recaptcha.net only appears in the scripts at the anti-bot code request*, so couldn't find it at first in order to allow it. But that's what was needed. Fantastic! and thanks so much for all the help.
