Gigaget

i installed gigaget in ubuntu lucid through wine, but flashgot didnt detect it. what should i do?

i switched flashgot.usewine to true but the problem persists.

Can I see your FlashGot Options|Advanced|Show Log output?

According to your log, GigaGet gets correctly detected.
Did you select it as your default download manager in FlashGot Options?
If you did, do you get any error message when you try to start a download through FlashGot?

the option "gigaget" is greyed out.i cant select it.

You're right, what your log actually says is that GigaGet was detected until Fri, Feb the 17th, then your FlashGot stopped using Wine at all.
Are you sure you didn't acidentally turn your flashgot.useWine about:config preference to false?

(Your FlashGot log file isn't as quite as big as I would have thought, only 650 KB, though might be time to purge it ;-).)

@therube : haha yes i did that lately.
@giorgio : i checked flashgot.usewine again and its set to true.
i was using windows before switching to ubuntu and my firefox profile moved with me, maybe that explains why flashgot detected gigaget ( in windows). i think it never detected it in ubuntu.

Could you check wheter it's detected on a clean profile with just FlashGot installed and the flashgot.useWine (notice the uppercase "W") pref set to true?
