In case of Flash downloads my approach is NS>> FG . Close the page. Some times I feel the need to check the clip for some duration say for 2 minutes and then press FG. Would that mean double download volume?
What happens if I press the FG icon after viewing the whole clip (say 25 mb ,well within the FF cache limits-- it also remains in the cache for some time I suppose).
Are downloads duplicated?
Are downloads duplicated?

Re: Are downloads duplicated?
I will go by the adage ,think before you ink..(obviously did not hold here..)
Hmm tried for a short clip (after the clip completed) and FG faithfully retrieved it from the cache. Not sure about what happens when pressing FG when the clip is midway.

Not certain, but believe it tries to pull from Cache first?
If not there or not complete, would think it would pull again from server?
