[DONE] Feature Request: Single Click to Allow Script

To allow a script to run three or more clicks are required:

1) click to open menu
2) click to allow site
3) click to close menu

Can you enhance NoScript to do this with one click?

The menu opens on hover over the NoScript icon. Click to allow site. The menu closes automatically.

I have RSI so this would be very helpful.

Sounds like a good idea. I'm investigating its technical feasibility...

How can you turn the hover over the icon activating the menu feature off? I don't like it and it interferes with my browsing behavior and I like it the way it was where you can click on the icon to get the sticky menu and make your choices. There should be a GUI option to turn this off but in the meantime can we have the config setting that will turn it off please, thanks. Also, you probably don't want to make this feature default and should allow the user to choose how they want to handle this feature. Especially that if you so much as deviate slightly, the menu disappears and reappears quite annoyingly. Thanks.

If you click on the NoScript Button you have to click the button again or click outside the dropdown (up?) to remove it, which seems to behave exactly as it did before, at least for me.

I don't care for it either, GµårÐïåñ. At least not yet. I turned it off by toggling noscript.hoverUI to false.

Giorgio,
Thanks very much for giving Internet users a powerful weapon to keep us safe from the bad guys. This GUI innovation and the many continually updated features makes NoScript the BEST Firefox extension. Keep up the great work! Your time and commitment is appreciated. :D

A checkbox has been added in NoScript Options|Appearance to turn off this feature in latest development build.
