Placeholder missing for PDF documents on untrusted sites

Firefox 3.6.8, Windows XP 32-bit
NoScript 2.0
Adobe Reader 9.3.3
Before 2.0, I got a placeholder for PDFs on untrusted sites (yes, I block PDFs). Now the site stays empty and I simply have to click anywhere on it to get the PDF, pretty unintuitive.

URL(s) where this occurs?
If you update to the latest
development build, do you still have the problem.
(With 2.0.1rc*, "Fixed meta redirections being broken sometimes..." may be your problem.)

Happens for every pdf from a untrusted site, example:
http://www.esiea-recherche.eu/data/filiol_pacsec.pdf
It works as expected in a clean profile. Diving into the structure with DOM Inspector shows that it still highlights the A node, but not the div child or div grandchild.

Getting the expected placeholder here.
Back up you settings, then try a (NoScript) Reset?
(That's neat how they did the page "menu" at the top of the PDF.)
On a refresh, a number of times now, I've gotten an error.
Adobe Reader: "File does not begin with '%PDF-", so maybe some sort of network error? At that point the screen was blank, no placeholder.

I tried an export, reset and import as well as manually disabling the blocking of the other plugins and reenabling it, the problem persists.

I get the placeholder too, no matter what I try.
NoScript 2.0.1rc3 with default settings. This is what I did.
- Load
http://www.esiea-recherche.eu/
- Mark esiea-recherche.eu as untrusted
- Open a new tab and enter
http://www.esiea-recherche.eu/data/filiol_pacsec.pdf in the Location bar
Result: I get a placeholder for the pdf. Clicking and clicking through the confirmation dialog loads and displays the pdf in Firefox
I also got the placeholder if I clicked or middle-clicked on one of the pdf links in the page, i.e. the top one: "The Invisible Bullet.

Don't know why it works differently for Archaeopteryx. Suggest trying again with NS 2.0.1rc3 with all other extensions except NoScript disabled. If that doesn't work, then installing NoScript in a new test profile is called for.
