[RESOLVED] NoScript queries local IP twice?
Posted: Tue Aug 03, 2010 12:12 pm
Good afternoon.
I develop websites which I locally access either via http://localhost or my internet IP address (92.nnn.nnn.nnn). This morning I set some code on the front page of the website to send an e-mail out and to my surprise I saw that the e-mail was being sent three times.
I investigated a little and according to my antivirus there was Firefox accessing my localhost via the IP address, http://92.nnn.nnn.nnn twice in 2 seconds at regular intervals.
I closed Firefox and re-opened it and noticed that as soon as Firefox starts, my website was being accessed.
I then disabled NoScript, re-started Firefox twice and my website was not accessed.
I re-enabled NoScript, re-start Firefox and there it goes again, my website at http://92.nnn.nnn.nnn accessed and e-mail sent.
Anyone can shed some light on this please?
Thank you.
