TypeError: l not defined

Hi folks... I've been seeking alternatives to Flash, and Flashgot seems like the best by far. However, when I tried the latest stable version of Flashgot with Firefox 3.6.3, it worked fine for one download - and then stopped letting me download specific media, and gave me this in the log on trying to download all Flash media on a page:
TypeError: l is undefined
([object Array],1)@chrome://flashgot/content/DMS.js:743
([object Array],1)@chrome://flashgot/content/DMS.js:332
([object Array],1)@chrome://flashgot/content/DMS.js:322

([object XPCWrappedNative_NoHelper])@file:///home/proteus/.mozilla/firefox/fbuwkhb8.default/extensions/%7B19503e42-ca3c-4c27-b1e2-9cdb2170ee34%7D/components/flashgotService.js:727
On Firefox 3.6.6, it didn't even give me the one download; it just immediately dumped that error in the log, and proceeded to do nothing whatsoever.
Help?

Does it happen on a specific web page (your message seems to imply that).
If so, could you give me its URL (by PM, if you prefer)?

It happens with any Youtube video, any at all.
Edit: actually it seems to be reproducible for ANY Flash video, period. Umm, try this page, which has a Flash video of Jolicloud's HTML5 interface:
http://digitizor.com/2010/07/17/joliclo ... interface/
Also this nifty bug seems to happen with both 1.2.1.27 (Stable) and .28rc3.

What download manager are you using?
Does it happen with 1.2.1.26 (
http://flashgot.net/feed )?

Using aria2, but this happens with any download manager I've tried so far. Also on two different distributions, Zenwalk (Firefox 3.6.3) and Linux Mint (3.6.6).
I'll try .26 and see if that works...
Edit: .26 doesn't work either, the "Download" and "Download Selected" options are still grayed out and "Download All" produces the same error.

That's overly strange. Those it happen also on a clean
profile with just FlashGot?

There are no other extensions installed, actually.
All I can think of is the list of changes I routinely make to Firefox's config...
- toolkit.storage.synchronous=0: makes Firefox stop using fsync() all the time. Without this, Firefox is basically unusable on my netbook (let alone slower computers) when I have more than a few tabs open. All it does is disable Firefox's constant fsync()ing, so I don't know how that would affect anything.
- middlemouse.contentLoadURL=false: having this option set to "true", as it is by default on Linux, is totally irresponsible and dangerous IMO; an accidental middle click can send you to an infected (or illegal) website. Again though I don't see how this could block Flashgot from working.
- pipelining stuff enabled: maybe this messes it up? Is pipelining known to be incompatible?
- prefetch disabled: I don't like the idea of Firefox prefetching stuff from links I don't click on, but maybe this is needed for Flashgot? No idea.
That's all that comes to my mind right now.

None of those change can cause this.
Did you try with "true" Mozilla-branded Firefox, rather than IceCat (same distros)?

Yes, Linux Mint uses the Mozilla branded version.

I'm baffled, as I just can't reproduce (Ubuntu and Fedora).
Could you check
latest development build which contains a couple of possibly related Linux fixes?
If that doesn't help either, please show me your full
FlashGot Options|Advanced|Show Log output, thanks.

Tried the latest development build already, no go. Guess I'll post the log. Just a sec.

You say you're running FF 3.6.3?
TypeError, huh.
Look what I wrote yesterday,
http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic ... 5#p9649745.
"ERROR: TypeError: Components.classes['@benoitren/partialspoofer;1'] is undefined"
A lot of "Layer" changes happening on the Trunk, but if you're 3.6.3 that wouldn't be the issue.

Yeah, 3.6.3. Also happens on 3.6.6 (Mint/Ubuntu) and 3.6.7 (Windows 2000). On every machine and every platform I've installed Flashgot on, this bug has reared its ugly head.

You've tried a new, clean Profile with only FlashGot installed?
Anything unusual with your setups? Proxy? Satellite?
