I really like Noscript a lot and feel much safer in Firefox using it that anywhere else.
That being said, I run into situations where I can't do what I want to do (sorry, I don't have a specific example)...
I check my list of things that are blocked and find nothing blocked or do a temporary unblock to the whole page
because I am not sure which item or items is keeping me locked out...
So then I am at a point where I should be able to do what I want, but still can't. I end up copying the URL over
to IE or Chrome and there I can do it...whatever it is I wanted to do.
What I'm puzzled about is...why do I run into these situations in the first place. I know there are still places
and situations where a particular browser won't work well but a different one will...due to the design efforts
of those who run the site. I had one today where I was trying to unsubscribe from a legitimate email and
in this instance it had a bar going on top with stuff I don't really understand...ended up X'ing the line
under the url and then it told me the address I was trying to go to didn't exist. So then I copied the last
complete url to Chrome and it processed my request. This was really a different one. Usually, I just don't
get a script working somewhere and can't find a way to make it work, since I have allowed everything.
Why do you suppose that happens? I will try and document some specific instances if everyone is just
scratching their head and saying "I don't know what he's talking about."

Start a FF session in -safe-mode.I end up copying the URL over to IE or Chrome and there I can do it...whatever it is I wanted to do.
That will disable all you extensions. If the site in question still does not work, then at least you know it is not extension (or extension conflict) related, that is then likely something related to Mozilla (& the coding of the page) itself.
