blocking facebook on third party sites, not always working?

Post by fbp »

(I am not a computer expert so please be gentle if it all seems like a stupid question.)

I would like to not see anything related to facebook.com while I'm not actually using facebook and I used the following rule to hopefully achieve that.

# This one allows Facebook scripts an
# from Facebook pages
Site .facebook.com .fbcdn.net
Accept from .facebook .fbcdn.net
Deny INCLUSION(SCRIPT, OBJ, SUBDOC)

but It seems it doesn't always work. here are two screenshots, first from what I consider a desirable result and second not.
