Every once in a while, I notice that NoScript is no longer installed. It just completely disappears from my computer and I have to go back to "get add-ons" and reinstall it. Also, there are no other users of my computer to blame. My updates are as current as available. What is causing this to happen?
Thanks in advance.
Why does NoScript completely disappear from my computer?

Re: Why does NoScript completely disappear from my computer?
that looks like an Add-Ons Manager corruption.
When this happens, could you try to follow the steps outlined in this article?

Also, if you've got Firefox extensions called "HP Smart Web Printing", "Skype", ".NET Framework Assistant" or "McAfee Site Advisor" please uninstall them: they're buggy and known to cause this problem.

Well, the good news is I don't have any of these extensions you listed installed on my computer. All I have is "Bookmarks Menu Tool Button", "NoScript", and "Sidebar Bookmark Selector".Giorgio Maone wrote:Also, if you've got Firefox extensions called "HP Smart Web Printing", "Skype", ".NET Framework Assistant" or "McAfee Site Advisor" please uninstall them: they're buggy and known to cause this problem.
I'll bookmark this page and try the link for corrupt extensions the next time it occurs. (It happens about once every 4 months.)
Thanks for your help.
