Why break something that works?

For the likes of me I can't understand why the developers break something that works great. Some of us are NOT super geeks but enjoy what NoScript has been doing for the past years.
Just updated this morning May 1st, and now none of the images that are called by js on my forum display. Of course this is a trusted site, I own it!
Also the bug with YouTube from the last update.. It appears that YouTube runs a 30 second add at the bottom of the video window that is called by js. There is no way to allow this (at least I haven't found one) to run. So, I'm left without any YouTube.
Up until the last two upgrades things were fine. I sure wish I could go back and install a older version and end these problems.
Yeah I'm having to run without NoScript, I don't like that, but what other choice do I have?
