ABE, Silent option

Post by zuriel »

I'm wondering if it would be possible to add an option switch to abe so that if a certain rule is used it will only log it to the console and not show an alert. I have a rule for facebook that goes off on way to many pages. if I could do something like:

Code: Select all

Site *.facebook.com*
Accept ALL from *.facebook.com*
Deny
Silent
to make it so that I didn't get any visible notification that would be great.

Thanks.

That's a nice feature but not what I am looking for. I only want to disable notifications on a single rule; not all rules.

I'm going to second zuriel's request.

I've really first started using ABE to block all the new facebook integration various sites are using. Tons of sites are using the social plugins, so getting a notification on that isn't really very helpful to me. It just makes me more likely to ignore notifications, which might be useful for other rules I'm working on.
