noscript with fennec on maemo n900

Yo!

Thanks a bunch for a must-have plugin.

Environment:
Nokia N900, Maemo 5, Fennec 1.0 (mobile Firefox), NoScript 1.9.9.57.

Problem:

When browsing with NoScript while using 3G connection, most images do not get loaded at all;
this happens regardless of whether a site is whitelisted.

Connecting via WiFi fixes the problem. Disabling NoScript also fixes the problem.

Also (others may have pointed this out), the settings are not accessible. The button on the toolbar produces an invisible menu (so it feels), and the button in settings does nothing.

Any ideas?

It may be due to your provider using some kind of proxy.
You should try to disable ABE (see below).

Yes, it's a known issue on constrained devices (it works fine with n850)
You should be able to change the setting above from about:config, by switching noscript.abe.enabled to false.

Thanks, Gio! That fixed the images.

The settings are still inaccessible, but that is only a minor annoyance for me. I simply edit prefs.js by hand when I need to whitelist things.
