Hi !

I was running noScript for years but then i updated to FireFox 3.6 a few minutes ago.

Now NoScript is not working at all. Every ads pass free. I don't see the little bar at the bottom ( allow/deny ).

I searched on the forums, i deleted all me extensions files, restarded firefox. Doesn't work.

When i try to go into "option" of noScript addons the window crash and make a sound.

Any ideas ?

Thank you

Looks like an Add-Ons Manager corruption.
Could you try to follow the steps outlined in this article?

Like i said on the first part, i did delete all the extensions files and restarted firefox. Didn't fix

Right now i have 3 extensions files : .rdf .cache and the last one doesnt show it's type ( i guess it's .ini )

Looks like the probleme doesn't come from that.

Also !

I just noticed my web video hunter addons doesn't seem to work too.

Is it possible it's a display bug ? Wich doesn't show the addons bar at the bottom of the browser.

A display bug is very unlikely.
Maybe an extensions conflict. Could you try Standard Diagnostic?

Didn't work

There must be a very bad problem with Extension window because when i try to hit the "option" button of ANY extension the window crash.

I'm having the same problem. I'm running FF3.6 on Windows 7 and have been using NoScipt for years on Windows XP and earlier machines. I thought it might be a Windows 7 issue; but. it doesn't sound like it. I have tried everything in the Standard Diagnostics including a clean reinstallation of Firefos 3.6 with NoScript as the first and only Extension. I just tried it again and had the same result - no icons or control; but NoScript did successfully block the Confirmation Code. I had to uninstall NoScript in order to see the Confirmation Code to make this post. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Can I see a screenshot of your extensions window?

I determined I am not having the same problem. I am running FF3.6 on my work computer under Windpws XP and it's working fine. I also restarted my older PC which is also running XP and upgraded Firefox to version 3.6. NoScript is working fine on that machine also. My problem is with Windows 7. I installed Firefox v 3.6 and cannot get NoScript to display any icons or site information. I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times like I said in my previous post. NoScript installs and blocks websites; however, no icons or notifications appear. For some reason, I can't get a screenshot to post; but, I am running the following Extensions:

Java Console v6.0.18
Logitech Device Detection v1.0.176.0
Zone Alarm Toolbar v1.5.53.4

Thank you.

Could you try disabling both?

The Zone Alarm Toolbar was the Extension blocking the Icons. I currently have it disabled and NoScript is working fine. Is there a setting I can use to enable it again?

Thank you very much.

No idea, it seems a bug in the toobar. Could you report it to ZA's developers?
