I just reinstalled the new version, first it said global scripts allowed, now it's just scripts allowed, it used to be i had to allow sites.
I'm not sure what's happened but something is different? Has there been a change?
It shows the red Blue S not the Red one in the task bar and when i mouse over it,Scripts currently allowed.
I updated a java version recently has that anything to do with the settings?
thks

No, it has been no change.HARLEY wrote:I just reinstalled the new version, first it said global scripts allowed, now it's just scripts allowed, it used to be i had to allow sites.

Are you sure you didn't enable Allow scripts globally or Temporarily allow top-level sites by default?HARLEY wrote: It shows the red Blue S not the Red one in the task bar and when i mouse over it,Scripts currently allowed.
Could you try NoScript Options|Reset?
That's very unlikely.HARLEY wrote: I updated a java version recently has that anything to do with the settings?

Re: scripts allowed?
Oh well, this page changed recently (I switched to ReCaptcha because it seems to be more usable, according to user feedback), so if you were referring to this very site there's nothing strange.
Is there something else which actually doesn't work?

Re: scripts allowed?
Just so i understand, if the page i may be on does not function do to noscripting , i then am to right click on the tray icon and choose " temporarily allow this page"?
Sometimes in Yahoo mail, if i have enabled or disabled one of these, if i click on "sign out" in yahoo, sign out does not work so then i have to choose "web based yahoo mail" in "file" and then it closes it out to re enter under another yahoo account.
Not sure what is supposed to happen here?
tks
