NoScript, Linux and Flash-players

I have a new install of Ubuntu (9.10, "Karmic Koala"), originally installed with Firefox 3.5.3, Ubuntu-upgraded to 3.5.8. I installed Firefox 3.6 via "Ubuntuzilla", and was presented an unusual prompt. Firefox informed that "Additional Plugins" were required for media, and offered three (3) suggestions:

Adobe Flash Player
SWFDEC
Gnash Swf Player

Resisting the obvious (installing the Adobe player), I would like to know if NoScript supports the alternate Flash players. Adobe's Flash has been the proverbial bugbear, and NoScript is in the first group of extensions to be installed. It seems that the Adobe player is the more supported route, but NoScript functionality is an absolute must-have.

Any thoughts?

NoScript supports any plugin configured to handle SWF files as "Adobe Flash", no matter if it's actually the Adobe's one.
