FlashGot RapidShare Issue

Hello,

I have been a long time user of FlashGot but recently with the new updates on FF & FlashGot I am having issues downloading multiple files. I normally highlight them all and then select FlashGot Selection and it auto starts each download...but now the problem is that it says "blahblah.rar could not be saved because the source file could not be read" ....when I do it one by one, it works fine. the links are valid but i still get that error. i have tried uninstalling flashgot and installing it again...that did not help

any help would be appreciated log files below

This seems a problem with the built-in Firefox download manager, rather than a FlashGot-specific issue.
Anyway, could you checl latest development build?
If that doesn't help, please double check that you can write in Z:\Downloads and try to delete the download.sqlite file located in your profile.

Thank you for your quick response. I have updated my flashgot to the latest development build and that did not help. I have also went into my profile and deleted download.sqlite, then started firefox and the same problem still occurs.

As far as write privileges, I do have it. It's just a partition off my C Drive. If I do single downloads using flashgot, it does it just fine on Z:/Downloads.

If it helps any bit, I am using Windows 7 64 bit with the latest up to date drivers and patches.
Also, using Firefox 3.6 the latest version.

Why does your user agent say "Firefox 3.0.8"?
Could you try on a clean profile with just FlashGot installed?

I had a user agent switcher but that was set to default agent. I guess the user agent wasn't updated. Anyways I have uninstalled that

Cleaned up profile, lets see if it works now.

I get no error pop up this time but all the downloads don't actually download. They all stop at 33.6kb . I remember this happening when I wasn't logged on to rapidshare..i made sure i logged in and tried it again and still doesn't work

Please check whether the "direct links" option is enabled for your Rapidshare account.

They are not active links no, they are inactive links on the few forums I go to. This is done on purpose to prevent rapidshare to detect which site it is coming from. I have been using flashgot for about a year and half and had no problems with this method before.

The way it is listed on the 5-6 sites I go to is in seperate downloads so something along this line:

http://rapidshare.com/file/example1.rar
http://rapidshare.com/file/example2.rar
http://rapidshare.com/file/example3.rar
http://rapidshare.com/file/example4.rar

Then what I would do with FlashGot is highlight all 4 and click on flashgot selection. It would pick up on each one and download it all.

This is done on purpose to prevent rapidshare to detect which site it is coming from.

Be sure that you are spoofing the referrer in that case. FlashGot Options | Privacy -> Referrer

Textual or live links aside, he's asking if you were to load the link (manually as is necessary in your case), will FF download them directly?
