NoScript and Facebook problem
After a NoScript update last night my facebook stopped working properly. The home page and profile pages will load but no other link from the Facebook home page will load. I click on a link or a button and get a blank white page. I have allowed facebook.com and fbcdn.net . If I disable NoScript Facebook works as it should. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: NoScript and Facebook problem
Do you get any error (red or blue) message in Tools|Error Console?
Does disabling all your add-ons except NoScript help?

Re: NoScript and Facebook problem
No, no error but after disabling Noscript, rebooting the computer then enabling Noscript and doing another options reset, Facebook is now working. Thank you very much! Linda

Re: NoScript and Facebook problem
Hi, this is a different Guest than the original poster above, but I'm having the same problem. Unfortunately, I tried the above poster's method and it did not fix this issue for me, I did Option Reset > Disable Noscript > Restart Firefox > Close Firefox and Reboot PC > Open Firefox > Enable Noscript > Restart Firefox > Option Reset > Restart Firefox.
Here is what happens, in some detail:
I go to http://www.facebook.com, I temporarily allow facebook.com and fbcdn.net, I refresh the page and log in. From there I can see everything in my news feed without issue. I can also see my own profile and other people's profiles as well (last night these too were blank pages, but this has mysteriously corrected itself). However, if I click on a photo album, I only get the blank page. Facebook settings page, message inbox page, and the friends suggestion page are also blank when I try those. I don't use apps so not sure about any of those.
If, upon encountering a blank page, I clear my facebook cookies, either by Clearing Recent History for the last hour, or by going to "remove individual cookies" searching for "facebook," and deleting all of those that come up, then refreshing the page and logging back in as prompted, the page now displays properly, as to other previously-blank pages when I navigate to them.
Also, if I allow scripts globally before first going to facebook, there is no issue (but if I enable it once I'm at a blank page, it still displays as blank).
This is a recent issue as of yesterday or the day before, nothing in either my facebook browsing habits or my noscript settings has changed in the past couple months.
By the way, thanks for everything with this add-on, if it comes down to facebook vs. Noscript I'll cancel my facebook account.
Cheers.

Re: NoScript and Facebook problem
I tried following the instructions too. I experienced the problem both on FF 3.5.7 & 3.6. Following the instructions did not alleviate the problem. I could go and remove the facebook cookie for noscript,and then one page load would work, but then subsequent loads would not work as the cookie was set. I noticed that when going back to the main page, the URL would be http://www.facebook.com/?_fb_noscript=1 sometimes (not all the time).
By the way, I would also like to thank you for the wonderful product that NoScript is.

Re: NoScript and Facebook problem
Looks like something which could be alleviated with a surrogate resetting the noscript cookie on every page load.
How does this cookie look like?

Re: NoScript and Facebook problem
Do you get any error (red) message in Tools|Error Console?
Are both facebook.com and fbcdn.net permanently allowed?
Does that blank page show any other allowable scripts aside the aforementioned two?
Could you try deleting your facebook Cookies (Firefox Tools|Options|Privacy) and then trying logging in again?

Re: NoScript and Facebook problem
Just to summarize, this will work:
* allow permanently fbcdn.net & facebook.com
* go to Preferences > Privacy > remove individual cookies
* in the search box type "facebook"
* one of the cookies will be called "noscript"
* remove that cookie.
Clicking links on the main page (which open groups, for example, in another tab) will now work.
Maybe it's Facebook trying to discourage the use of NoScript or something? Why do they need a cookie called noscript? If they presented something else other than a blank page, but they don't...
