I have been using NoScript for years, but the latest update blocks my IM sessions even though the sites are on my whitelist. If I use IE I have no problems, but don't like using IE because of security issues. Please help.

Version 1.9.9.35 is the last one that doesn't block the IM.

When I open a chat session, the messenger just shows a Loading message.
My boyfriend, who works in IT says it appears as if NoScript is blocking a needed Popunder even though the sites are on the whitelist.

I've got not enough data to help you effectively (I'd need to see the address of the page where this chat fails).
However please double check that your NoScript installed version is 1.9.9.39 and the problem persists.
If it does, you can try to add the domain of the failing page to the noscript.surrogate.popunder.exceptions about:config preference.
If it sounds too much complicated, just erase the content of the noscript.surrogate.popunder.sources about:config preference.
