Hi, I need some info please. I use Orbit Downloader without installing it, simply extracting installation and running Orbit.exe (something like portable). The problem with that way is that Flashgot doesn't detect Orbit.
Can you tell me what Flashgot checks to see if Orbit has been installed on a system? Is it the installation path, registry etc. I would really appreciate it.
Regards,
George

Re: What Flashgot Checks for Orbit
I manually extracted Orbit 3.0.0.1.
Placed it's contents into a directory.
In FlashGot Options, Add, called it "Orbit3".
Gave the path to Orbit, C:\TMP\OrbitDownloaderSetup_30\app\orbitdm.exe
Left the Command line argument as [URL]
And FlashGot All passed a lot of individual (in that individual download windows popped up) to Orbit.
Had I not canceled them all, I expect they would have downloaded.
(Not sure why it was individual download prompts instead of having the entire list going to the (Orbit) URL selection dialog?)
