Firefox Version 3.5.7
FlashGot Version 1.2.1.09

Everytime I start Firefox, Flashgot creates a sub directory (flashgot.5fmrknrx.default - which is created as a sub directory of the download directory) and it also creates a file (FlashGot.exe.test). Is there any way to stop this "feature".

Yes, please open FlashGot Options|Advanced and set the temporary directory to your system's temporary directory, or open about:config and reset the flashgot.tempDir preference.
