When Flashgot is used to download Multimedia protected with RTMPE, only a 0B file is retrieved.

FlashGot does not see RTMP at all, much less RTMPE.
Perhaps in the future (?)
Youtube and VEVO!
There is a program
rtmpdump which Adobe does not like (having issued take-down notices).
Supposedly Adobe "protected" (secured) RTMPE streams by means of "obscurity", if you will. Meaning that they left themselves open, i.e., unsecured. And by doing so, they left themselves open to programs like rtmpdump. Ah well, live & learn.

I don't believe that is any doing of NoScript, but rather a change on Vevo's end.
(Like some content they may be sending in the clear, & other, not.)
