activating 2nd youtube embed on a page disrupts the 1st

Fx 3.5.6 & 2, NS 1.9.9.25
To repro:
Create a local html file, copy the embed snippets from any two youtube videos into it, load it so placeholders are showing, activate and start playing the first video. When you activate the second placeholder, the page appears to refresh (does it?) and the first video is stopped.

This is technically a Firefox and/or plugin bug: if a page change causes a reflow (in this case the placeholder disappearing), reflown Flash object are reinitialized.
However I put a work-around for most situations in
1.9.9.26.

fixed for Fx35, but broken for Fx2, no placeholders on youtube and blogspot, on my static test page they are huge (scale with the page) white and borderless

Fixed for Fx2 in
1.9.9.27, but don't expect it to be perfect. Gecko 1.8.x has been definitely phased out, and is gonna rot more and more as time passes.

Please clarify.
gonna rot more and more - there will be more and more NS Fx2 bugs?
don't expect it to be perfect - don't expect them to be fixed?
Is that what you are saying? Are you thinking of dropping 1.8.1? What do you think of
this?

Don't expect the cosmetic ones to be fixed promptly.
I.e., if a bug can lead to an attack and can be reasonably fixed, it will be fixed.
If it's just a convenience issue, it will go in a very low priority queue.
