yotube placeholder doesn't resize

Go to any youtube video, make the player large and reload so it starts out large, now make it small, the placeholder is not resized and covers the page content

Block Flash & set Apply to whitelisted sites too
Load page, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NXLP4HQo ... e=featured
By default small size
Click the <-> to enlarge
Refresh page (so that the enlarged looks correct)
Revert back to small
Placeholder overlays instead of reducing in size
Refresh page (& the placeholder then displays correctly)

There's no way for the placeholder to resize, since it's not the same object as the one the page is trying to script.
As therube pointed out, in this case you just need to reload, but there's no guarantee for the placeholder to behave exactly as the replaced object. All it does is a best effort to fill the same space the replaced object would initially have taken.
