Problems getting the previous settings

Hello all.
Further to my previous topic, it actually works, but I used to get the proceeding of the 4 different download streams.
The way it works now , i cannot retrieve a download if the connection fails.
Browsed through topics and FAQ's, but could not get to any help.

In short, previously, I could stop and restart a download: how can I get this option back?

What download manager are you using?
URL where this occurs?

Not all servers will support resume.
