Hi there

Until yesterday flashgot just worked fine with wget and getting files from rapidshare. Now after the update it doesn't anymore ..
It just asks for the destination folder and closes right after.

Extract from log:

Preprocessing done in ms237

Never touch a running system *sigh*
Anyone got a clue why or what has changed?

anything else in the log?
There should be a flashot.something directory inside /tmp/: could you zip its content and send it to my address?

I got the same error regardless which (console based) DM I start. In my .xsession-errors I always get the error* gnome-terminal not found (well it isn't installed). It seems after the upgrade flashgot is trying to use gnome-terminal, even if COLORTERM isn't set to it. Linking gnome-terminal to xterm didn't work either, as the commandline arguments differ. But a wrapperskript around wget starts it as normal. So I believe there's something wrong with the terminal detection (it always uses gnome-terminal).

*Errormessaege: /tmp/flashgot.j6k6yrys.default/flashgot-2.fgt: 4: gnome-terminal: not found

could you check if latest development build 1.2.1.01 works?

After some mail communication with Giorgio, he asked me to install the latest development version (v 1.2.1.01), which did the job for me.
So you might try it as well: http://flashgot.net/getit#devel
On the other hand, I didn't have the problem with the wrong console detection.
