Why does FlashGot try to access localhost:9660? This seems to be very strange.

Maybe because your proxy settings aren't correct (i.e. they don't exclude local destinations?)Guest wrote:Yes, but why does it try to access localhost:9666 through the Tor network when we run Tor?

I have checked the browser settings in both FF and IE proxy is disabled for localhost and local networkGiorgio Maone wrote:Maybe because your proxy settings aren't correct (i.e. they don't exclude local destinations?)Guest wrote:Yes, but why does it try to access localhost:9666 through the Tor network when we run Tor?
FlashGot uses the high-level Firefox's XMLHttpRequest API to do that, therefore whatever your browser would do it does.
Does opening http://localhost:9666 from Firefox's location bar go through the proxy or not?Guest wrote:I have checked the browser settings in both FF and IE proxy is disabled for localhost and local network
