ABE LOCAL Deny but not trying to request LAN resources

Post by messedly »

Hi, I'm a happy user of NS and for the first time ever, my own site has triggered a warning. Please help me understand this and hopefully improve it so the warning isn't triggered.

I've set up a new domain name to redirect to a landing page.
http://www.newgreenleaf.com is redirected to https://support.acfonline.org.au/SSLPage.aspx?pid=208
When I go straight to (type in) the landing page I get no warnings from NS. When I go to the domain I get this ABE warning.
In previewing this message, I see that the above link to the landing page also triggers an ABE <LOCAL> Deny message:
The landing page is not trying to load any LAN resources, not according to my understanding of those terms anyway.

I'm using NS 1.9.9.15

Thanks for any assistance or insight you might have.

support.acfonline.org.au is apparently pointing to an intranet resource on your PC.
Could you try
"Ping support.acfonline.org.au" to see which IP it resolves to?

Anyway, inserting the following lines in the beginning of your SYSTEM NoScript Options|Advanced|ABE ruleset should do the trick:

Code: Select all

Site *.acfonline.org.au
Accept
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.2; en-US; rv:1.9.1.5) Gecko/20091102 Firefox/3.5.5 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729)
