NS menu fails

NoScript seems to work, as well as its options dialog. After update to 1.9.9.15 NS menu is unusable. Clicking an icon toggles NoScript normally, but its menu blinks once - appears and vanishes immediately, whether it's used from context menu or fall-down right from the icon.
Firefox 3.5.5, Ubuntu 9.10
Reset in NoScript options does not fix this problem and it remains with all other extensions (including Ubufox) turned off, and even if the profile was removed and new one created instead (therefore extensions were reinstalled).

Do you get any error message in Tools|Error Console?

No. Cleaned it, reloaded, saw failed menu few times - and there still nothing save few parsing errors for sites.
Addition: the menu works on noscript.net, but only until i try, say, tvtropes.org and it fails.

Update:
the source of problem was Glaze Black 3.2 theme. I did deactivated plugins, but not the theme, and now when i tried to change back and forth it's obvious the theme has a repeatable bug.

I have a very similar problem (if not the same) but I get it with two other themes, Chromifox Extreme Green v1.0.2.8 and RedShift V3 v3.0. It's too bad b/c I really like both of these dark themes. :( The NS menu won't appear when using these themes. [I tried toolbar menu, statusbar menu, and right-click menu; no menu would appear.] But if I return to the default FF theme, NS menu works again.
