Opening bookmarklets on blank pages no longer seems to work

Does anyone has any suggestions why I might not be able to open bookmarklets on blank pages anymore?
e.g. I have a bookmarklet to open a number of pages at the same time, and I usually open a new tab and then press it; but now it no longer works. It still works on tabs that already display a page, but it's a bit inconvenient. I can't even do javascript:alert(1), if for some reason I wanted to.

Confirmed.
Looks like one of the changes between .14 & .15 caused this.
