Import of Whitelist

I am not sure if this is a user (me!) problem, bug or design feature.

While exploring an site with links to "Facebook" (I plead the 5th! ), I managed to temporarily allow some AND fully allow a number of sites that I really should have kept temporary. Rather than revoke temporaries (easy) and manually remove the added full allows, I restored the whitelist from a backup taken immediately prior to the above.

I was concerned that the prior "temporaries" would import as "permanent", as they appeared similar in the ".txt" backup. This apparently was not the case. All was well again with the whitelist, and their was much rejoicing.

However, ... all the permissions in all the currently open tabs were reset, requiring the "refresh" of each tab (all 16, in two windows). Of course, a quick restart of Firefox would accomplish this.

Should the permissions for open tabs have been automatically refreshed after import of the whitelist ?

(I apologize for replying to myself ....)

Re-stating my earlier question:

"Should the permissions for open tabs have been automatically refreshed after import of the whitelist ?"

And a second question:

If I manually add "Untrusted" sites (black-listed) to the exported whitelist file, will those black-list entries be imported to NoScript?

Yes, as soon as you hit the "OK" button in the Options dialog.

Yes they are.
