Detecting video name from YouTube?

Post by abocer »

hi
I've been using this great addon for years now

certainly I noticed that IDM video capturing icon detect the video name and save the file as "YouTube - whatever.flv"

but when I use the Flashgot icon in the status-bar (and goes directly to IDM) the file name become "video.flv"

how can I get FlashGot to save the videos name as IDM does

I hope my words are understandable and I hope that you could help me with this

thanx in advance

Unluckily not, there's no way to tell IDM the "pretty" name extrapolated from page context (e.g. title) and which is used with other download manager accepting file name overriding (e.g. the built-in and some Linux ones).
