add-on unable to allow blocked content on recent firefox nighly mobile

Code: Select all

152.0a1 (Build #2016158815), b21b5804d3bda86b5739ecbe48013345466748e0
GV: 152.0a1-20260503091252
AS: 152.20260502050228
OS: Android 16
Noscript version:
13.6.16

Hello, I am running Firefox nightly on my Android phone. I recently started getting problems with noscript, which is the only add-on I have installed. It seems that, more or less since 2-3 weeks or so, once I try to allow any kind of content on a page, 95% of the times this has no effect at all. I tried all possibilities including 1) temporarily allow all the page and 2) temporarily disable all restrictions using the buttons in the popup, 3) trying multiple times to temporarily allow sll the page. No luck. It basically seem that tapping any button has no effect: the popup does not close (not even tapping the refresh page button), and if i manually close the settings page, all content keeps being blocked. I tried to reload the page using the browser controls, but the page reloads blocked. I also tried to keep the refresh icon pushed for a long time (in the firefox nightly mobile UI) which i believe should cause a forced refresh and ignore the cache, but all content keeps being blocked. In order to fix a page I need to disable the extension and reload the page.

From my experience and feeling, i am ready to bet 50€ this is the fault of firefox mobile, but i did not had the time to investigate.

I believe I have some ability to debug the extension (i developed one for myself, long ago, with very basic features) but i:

1) don't know whether it's worth investing time or not: ff mobile seem to become day after day less usable and the same is true for firefox desktop
2) don't know if i am the only one having this problem or not... Maybe i just screwed up the settings
3) in case of debugging, i don't know what to look for exactly, i.e. which kind of log to export, in which format, etc

Any response is welcome. Thanks in advance
