Managing Auto-Refresh

Good day!

My main is NS 13.5.5 in Firefox 146.0.1 (64-bit)

I know it's probably something obvious that my "man eyes" (as my husband and I joke) are just missing, but how do I control the automatic reloading of the page after making adjustments to the permissions?

As I'm sure many users here do, I use multiple privacy & security extensions simultaneously, such as Privacy Badger, Ghostery, and others, depending on the device or browser that I'm using at the time.

This can mean adjusting settings in multiple extensions and reloading the page. Most of the extensions that I use either don't auto-reload or provide a toggle for turning off the reload.

I get why it's on by default, for user simplicity and the likelihood of finding additional stuff that might need to be managed after some parent script is allowed. However, it would save time, traffic, and frustration to be able to make all of the changes across all extensions at once and then reload the page once everything is adjusted.

Thank you!

There isn't currently a setting for this. It used to be configurable in NoScript Classic, and bringing back that configurability in NoScript Webext has been requested a number of times. Moving this thread to NoScript Development as a RFE

NoScript latest development build now has: NoScript Options > Advanced, "Automatically reload affected pages when permissions change"
