I don't gfet several websites to work with NS 13.0.9

Post by iFloh »

Hi Community,

Do you know why a this years NS update causes me trouble?

since 2025 websites stopped working when NoScript v13.0.9 is active in Firefox v142.0 (64 bit) while giving the sites FULL permissions:

- rodiun.com (language dependent same site sub-links can't be opened.)
- lufthansa.com (website triggers a lufthansa security incident and cannot be opened -> "We apologise for the interruption. We detected unusual behaviour from your browser, which resembles that of a bot")
- AirBnB.com (images can't be accessed and result in html download endless loop, such as: BzYt4mFj.htm download failed -- moz-safe-about-Ressource) => unable to use website due to endless download attempt

The symptoms can only be overcome by deactivating NoScript ... 🤷🏽‍♂

We don't know why offhand, but we can help troubleshoot.

What is "FULL permissions":
- Setting every site listed in the NoScript popup to (Temp.) TRUSTED, repeating until no more sites are shown?
- Setting every site listed in the NoScript popup to CUSTOM with all checkboxes checked, repeating until no more sites are shown?
- "Disable restrictions for this tab"?
- "Disable restrictions globally (dangerous)"?
- Something else?

I don't know anything about any of the various Firefox browsers for Android, but if this were desktop Firefox I would ask what the latest working version of NoScript was, suggest trying that NoScript version again now and if that fixes the issues, testing old NoScript dev builds (x.x.x.9xx) to find the latest working dev build. Does your Firefox browser on Android permit you to downgrade NoScript to older versions or install from noscript.net?

*Always* check the changelogs BEFORE updating that important software!
