[Resolved] How to allow x-load for all file: URLs?

Post by barbaz »

NoScript 12.5.x introduced a new "x-load" capability that is disabled by default for file: URLs. Since I consider all local files as trusted, I would like to enable x-load for all file: URLs. How to do this?

12.5.904 now shows the "x-load" permission for "file:" in NoScript Options > Per-site Permissions 👍 , but enabling it there doesn't seem to have any effect?

Before posting this thread, in NoScript 12.5.903 I also tried setting this permission manually for "file:", and then for "file:///", in NoScript Options > Advanced > Debug. Neither of these had any effect.
