I think this is a known issue, but I cannot find it.
When I add a new computer, all the other computers have the NoScript settings reset and I have to manually enable on ALL my computers the sites that should not be blocked.
I would have no problem if all sites were blocked on the NEW computer, but the settings on all OTHER computers get reset, too
Why does adding a new computer RESET noscript settings?

Are you using Firefox Sync? This is known to happen with Firefox Sync in some cases. Not sure if anyone ever solved it though

Re: Why does adding a new computer RESET noscript settings?
Yes, I am using Firefox Sync. All bookmarks, passwords, etc. get synced. But the NoScript settings are set to default and THEN synced to other computers, so I have a lot of fixing to do.
This has happened repeatedly.
Is there a way to tell NoScript NOT to sync? I don't have a problem with fixing the settings on the new computer, but fixing them on several other computers is a pain.

I don't think there is a NoScript setting for that. Some people were able to work around the issue by disabling syncing of all add-ons' data.

Re: Why does adding a new computer RESET noscript settings?
Thanks everyone. Is there a place to report this to NoScript?
I note this is even worse than I originally wrote. I can enable some sites in NoScript on one computer, but not on another that has that tab open when I restore open tabs. When I go back to the first computer after a reboot - the settings are gone again.
There are definitely some sync bugs there.
I've turned off syncing add-ons, and will see what happens.

This forum is the right place. Since Giorgio is the only NoScript developer, it's a matter of waiting for Giorgio to see this thread.
