Tag <script> enable by default

Hello. About a week ago something strange started happening. My extension settings keep getting reset. And in the “default” mode, the <script> tag is always enabled, is that really how it should be? For example, I launch the browser, disable the <script> tag from the default mode, go to some site, the <script> tag does not work, but if I restart the browser, then all the settings disappear and the <script> tag works again. I reinstalled the browser, reinstalled the operating system, even on another device this happens. This started about a week ago, just a week ago the extension came out with an update, my first thoughts were that the extension code was compromised. Should the <script> tag in "default" mode be included when installing the extension?

NoScript does not enable "script" in DEFAULT preset by default.

What browser and OS are you seeing this on? If the browser you posted from, I think it's not a supported browser, NoScript only supports desktop versions of Chrome/Chromium.

Does it happen in a new, clean Firefox profile with all default settings and NoScript the only extension installed?

That doesn't answer the question. Did you click the profile link?

Please perform this test on your Debian 12.5. Don't test on any other OS or device for now.

Also, are you using Firefox Sync? (If so, don't set it up in the test profile.)
