NoScript 11.4.20 Not Working Right

noscript 11.4.20 does not work right with firefox-for-android.
the main thing that is noticable is that the list of websites with permissions does not load. also, the other settings for the addon are not remembered.
i also noticed that the noscript GUI was showing that it was build 11.4.20 but the information for the addon was showing as being build 11.4.18 (before uninstalling and reinstalling noscript).
i repeatedly tried uninstalling and reinstalling noscript, along with restarting my android tablet, but that did not resolve the problem.
i didn't see an option to roll back to an earlier version of noscript.
i also noticed that, frequently, if not always, when opening noscript's settings, it also would cause another, second, tab to open at the same time, opening to "about:blank." i wasn't seeing that with earlier versions of noscript.
