[Solved]: Icon is enlarged and covers AWS console pages when noscript 11.4.5 is enabled in FF 99.0.1 and 100.0.2

This just started happening and I'm not sure if noscript has been updated to cause this, or Amazon did something. When I noticed it today I tried updating to latest FF for Fedora 35 which is 100.0.2 but issue remains.

Got some screenshots on this private reddit post.

I can tell it's the link icon for the Unified Settings advertised at the bottom of the page. I started FF in safe mode, problem went away, then enabled plugins one by one and now I can re-create the issue if I toggle noscript in add-ons menu.

All JS is enabled when this happens, sometimes it seems to disappear after temporarily enabling global JS, but after a refresh it's back. The ctrl+shift+j console shows only one line on a newly refreshed page with the error.

Code: Select all

Promise resolved after context unloaded

Did you by any means disable the "unrestricted CSS" capability in your TRUSTED preset?

Thanks that solved it, went into Noscript settings, General, Trusted tab, checked "unrestricted css". I have no memory of ever changing this.
