After the update changing noscript-layout, many sites show chinese characters (split from t=26586)

Hi!

Question to all participating inside this thread ... anyone else had behavior change after the update changing noscript-layout?

Why I'm asking? Exact since then many sites show chinese characters instead of the buttons shown before - try&error showed me it is all back to normal is I deactivate NoScript inside my FireFox 98,0,2.

Greetings D.Gau

Split to a new thread. This is a separate issue, the thread you posted in was only about the actual UI changes.

What is the URL of the webpage shown in your screenshot?

Did you by any chance disable the "font" capability in the DEFAULT preset?

Hi!

@barbaz:
Thx for splitting up, I thought maybe a sort of survey would bring up an used solution.
(From pic - iirc fritz-berger.com ... same on mail.com and many others)

@Giorgio Maone;
To be honest .. installed it ages ago, used it, updated it/and/or Firefox and very rarely added some black-/whitelist entry by hand - this addon just worked always fine out of the box for me! (btw: Extra big thanks on that!!!!)

"font" capability => Never touched knowingly ... but it is disabled!
I'll try some (a bunch) pages after deactivating and come back later/tomorrow.

Not seeing Chinese characters, but those icons do not display correctly for me until I allow "font" capability for etailercdn.de

Sorry for beeing late ... yes, "font" capability is the solution.
I really can't say how it went inactive - thx for the help!
